Description

When explorers from Earth discover a hidden planet, they expect to find aliens.

Instead, they find themselves- and a truth that shatters everything they know.

Lieutenant Ken Ramos crashes on Fratera, a planet that shouldn’t exist, inhabited by humans who shouldnt be there. Rescued by Daraña, a marine scientist from an advanced civilization, Ken discovers that Frateras people are descendants of humans mysteriously transported from Earth centuries ago-and they’ve been watching his world all along.

But paradise conceals darkness. When Ken’s team vanishes, he learns they ve been captured by Rafe Tabanner, a brilliant but fractured virologist consumed by grief. Mourning his dead son and driven by a twisted vision of liberation, Rafe has created a virus designed to destroy humanity’s capacity for judgment-and Ken’s team are his test subjects.

Caught between two worlds and two versions of himself, Ken must navigate impossible choices: between duty and love, between vengeance and redemption, between the broken soldier he’s been and the man he could become. With Daraña’s help, he faces not only Rafe’s apocalyptic plan but also the question that haunts them all – what does it truly mean to be human?
